"The sign looks great as does the website"

A selection of routes for the Identity were presented, with options on the logo style, fonts and colour palette.

The final design incorporated a mixture of the ideas; using a scissors icon for the logo, a soft colour palette using neutral colours and a couple of simple fonts.

Social Media

We set up, and are helping out with, their social accounts; integrating them with the website and using print to encourage participation from patrons.


The business is in a Grade II listed building so the opportunities for branding are minimal. Currently they have a small plaque and a pavement sign, which people have criticised for not including a phone number. It would be tempting to make the pavement sign minimal, maximising the aesthetic, but making the design legible has to be the core function. This was also a contributing factor in making the logo an icon, rather than text.
